Yes You Can CNA privacy

Yes You Can CNA is an independent North Carolina Nurse Aide I study aid. The free web beta uses email verification to reserve one of 20 initial places or join a waiting list. It does not ask for your name, certification identifier, health information, payment details, contacts, or location.

Web beta signup

We store your email address, signup and verification times, place or waiting-list status, and whether you separately chose future paid-app updates. We use Resend to deliver confirmation messages from [email protected]. An essential session cookie keeps a verified browser signed in for up to 30 days. We do not sell signup addresses or add them to a marketing list without the separate opt-in.

To prevent automated signup abuse, we store a short-lived, salted hash derived from the connection's IP address in an hourly rate-limit bucket. We do not store the raw IP address in the signup database. Cloudflare may process normal network and security logs as the site host.

What stays on your device

Quiz answers, scores, skill practice marks, theme choice, and study progress are stored locally in your browser or native app. They are used to render your study experience and are not uploaded with your beta email. You can clear them using the app's reset control or your device's app-data controls.

Feedback

If you use a feedback form inside the web beta, we store its text, the page it came from, your verified email, and submission time so we can understand and follow up on the report. Do not include patient details or other private information.

The app includes links to public NC Credentia, N.C. Nurse Aide I Registry, federal, and CDC references. A source page opens only when you choose it; the app does not send your study progress to those sites.

For access, deletion, privacy requests, or to opt out of later app updates, email [email protected]. We remove beta signup and feedback records on request and review them for deletion when the beta ends. This page will be updated if the product's data practices change.
